Some Sunny Day
Friends,
Well, this is it. The End. At least, for the time being. The truth is, with the mountain of projects I’m currently working on, I simply don’t have the time to commit to WGC anymore, despite the fact that it’s brought me in touch with countless people that I’m lucky enough to call friends. And while my enthusiasm for the strip may have been in decay for awhile, my enthusiasm for art and storytelling is stronger now than it’s ever been! Sounds cliche, but I mean it.
With that in mind, I hope that any of you who are still interested in what I’ve got up my sleeve – which includes a game and a webseries, at the moment! – will follow me on Twitter, as that’ll be more of a central hub for me these days. I may occasionally post a new strip here and there, but at the moment, the schedule’s clear.
So! For those of you coming along for the ride, thank you for your continued support! It’s gonna be fun. But for those of you that prefer to get off now, allow me to lift the safety bar. I am happy to have served all of you for three years, and I truly hope you enjoyed it.

Your comic has been very enjoyable and I’ll miss it. But it’s great that you’re able to do what you enjoy. The problem I see with being a creative individual is that there’s so many different paths to take that you know you would enjoy, that it gets hard to pick which one is the best for you.
Good luck to you, and I’ll be following on twitter. Though admittedly I don’t care much for twitter.

I’ve been following WGC for quite some time now, although I’ve never commented before now. I had a feeling that the comic would be ending (or at least going on hiatus) after the missed updates these last few weeks. I really appreciate the fact that you put together this farewell comic, though!
It’s sad to see the Cat coming to a close, but I guess that all good things must come to an end. Thanks for all the fun, Brett! I look forward to learning about your next project.

I’ve been reading this comic for ages now, and I don’t think I’ve even left a comment before. Sad to see this series come to an end. I hope you return to it sometime soon, and I wish you all the best in your future projects.
